Argentina's Emi Martínez and Brazil's Douglas Luiz have been called up to their respective squads for the 2021 Copa América.

The Aston Villa duo have been away on international duty since the conclusion of the 2020/21 Premier League season for two FIFA World Cup qualifiers, but with those fixtures now complete, Lionel Scaloni and Tite have confirmed their squads for the upcoming tournament.

New signing Emiliano Buendía has not been named in the final Argentina squad, having been with the team for the qualifying fixtures.

Martínez made his international debut against Chile before being substituted as a precaution during the first half of the 2-2 draw with Colombia, and he is expected to be fit for Argentina's Group A opener against Chile on Monday, June 14 at 10pm.

Douglas Luiz was suspended for Brazil's 2-0 win over Ecuador, before coming on as a second-half substitute for the 2-0 victory in Paraguay.

Brazil open their Group B campaign on Sunday, June 13 at 10pm against Venezuela.

Congratulations and good luck to Emi and Douglas!
