Hannah Hampton voiced her determination to ‘develop as a player’ after signing for Aston Villa Women.
The goalkeeper joined the Club from Birmingham City on a two-year deal alongside a host of new arrivals this summer.
Hampton made her senior debut at the age of 17 and received her first senior England call-up in February 2020.
Still only 20 years old, Hampton has made over 60 domestic appearances and is widely regarded to have a very bright future ahead of her.
Hampton, herself, is expectedly raring to go ahead of 2021/22.

“I’m really excited to get going. It’s a great Club with great ambition and it’s something I want to be a part of,” admitted the shot-stopper.
“I can’t wait for the season to start.”
Hampton has very much experienced a fast-track to the top flight of women’s football, but is leaving no room for complacency as she embarks on the latest challenge in what looks like a highly promising career.

“I’ve been lucky with clubs I’ve joined,” she modestly stated.
“Starting with Villarreal, I’ve not been at grassroots level.
“The five years I had at Birmingham (City), I’ll always remember.
“Now it’s time for me to take a step forward. Joining a club like Villa… I feel like I can do that.”
Hampton, who is on the cusp of a first senior England cap, is doubly determined to reach the heights required to be a regular for club and country.
“Improving my personal development as a player,” said the 20-year-old when asked of her aims for the upcoming season.
“With the facilities here I can really do that, whether that’s in the gym or on the pitch.”
“It’s something I’m going to try my hardest with in the next couple of years.”
