The final result in Gameweek 20 might not have been one that Villa fans were hoping for, but there were plenty of positives to take despite the midweek defeat at Burnley.
Target-ting assists

One thing all FPL managers love is the opportunity to invest in a solid defender who regularly keeps clean sheets and has plenty of potential upside for attacking returns.
Matt Targett (£4.7m) not only fulfils that criteria but is also an FPL bargain. While Targett may not have returned a clean sheet in Gameweek 20, he did assist Ollie Watkins, resulting in a four-point return. This was unlucky not to be more as he finished just two points outside of the bonus points as well.
Targett has now registered an assist in each of his last two Premium League matches. Add to that 10 clean sheets in 18 games, a further assist in Gameweek 8 against Arsenal and strong creative numbers, then Targett looks to be worth every FPL pound.
Outstanding Ollie

Watkins (£6.1m) had 201,024 new Fantasy Premier League (FPL) managers ahead of Gameweek 20 and he immediately repaid their faith with a goal at Turf Moor.
The forward had an 80% pass accuracy rate, with two key passes, 19 aerial duels and was unlucky to end up outside the bonus points as a result of Burnley’s third goal.
Watkins has now returned in back-to-back Premier League matches and, at just £6.1m, looks like a fantastic FPL option over the next few Gameweeks.
Jack of all trades

With his current form, it is impossible not to recommend Jack Grealish (£7.7m) to FPL managers around the world. Grealish sits second in the ICT Index (Influence, Creativity and Threat stats), not only for midfielders but for every player in the game.
Grealish has returned in three of his last four Premier League matches – only failing to return attacking points for owners against Manchester City.
During Gameweek 20, Grealish had a pass accuracy rating of more than 88%, making five key passes and having three shots on target. With six goals and eight assists so far this season, Grealish is one of the most in-form players across the whole of the Premier League and a wise FPL investment.
