El Ghazi strike nominated for GOTM award 🏆

Anwar El Ghazi’s stunning strike against Crystal Palace has been nominated for the Premier League’s December Goal of the Month award.

The winger wrapped up a 3-0 win against the Eagles when he showed perfect technique to send a shot flying past Vicente Guaita and into the net off the far post.

The goal continued the Dutchman’s scoring streak after he’d netted a brace in the previous game against West Bromwich Albion.

El Ghazi is up against Paul Pogba (vs West Ham), Son Heung-Min (vs Arsenal), James Maddison (vs Brighton), Jack Harrison (vs Newcastle and vs West Bromwich Albion), Sebastien Haller (vs Crystal Palace) and Mohamed Salah (vs Crystal Palace) for the award.

Voting closes at 6pm on Monday 11 January.
