Aston Villa Chief Executive Christian Purslow visited the Villa Park COVID vaccination centre upon its opening on Thursday.
NHS staff and volunteers are located in the Holte End area of the stadium as it plays a pivotal role as one of the vaccination hubs in the Birmingham area, helping to administer vaccines alongside local GPs and pharmacists.
And Mr Purslow was there on the day of its opening to be given a tour by Professor Inderjit Singh, Chief Pharmacist at University Hospitals Birmingham, to see just how the club are proudly helping the local community in the battle against COVID.
