John McGinn's fine international form has been rewarded with a place on the shortlist for the Scotland Men's Player of the Year award.
McGinn scored four times in 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifying as Scotland secured a play-off spot, while he also played every minute of their UEFA Euro 2020 campaign.
His first international goal of the year was a stunning overhead kick to earn a 2-2 draw against Austria, before he scored twice in a 4-0 win over the Faroe Islands.

McGinn then captained his country during their friendly win over Luxembourg ahead of Euro 2020 and scored against Israel in September to help Steve Clarke's side to maintain a winning run which has now extended to six games.
The Villa midfielder is joined on the shortlist by Lyndon Dykes, Billy Gilmour, Grant Hanley, Andrew Robertson and Kieran Tierney.

Good luck, Super John!
