Matt Targett returns from a one-game absence and is restored to the starting XI in place of Emiliano Buendia, who drops to the bench.
Ashley Young, who deputised at left-back, will move further forward in an otherwise unchanged Villa team from last weekend's 2-1 victory against Leicester City.
Trezeguet returns to the matchday squad for the first time since suffering a knee injury at Anfield back in April.
The Egyptian takes a place on the bench alongside the returning Danny Ings.
