John McGinn has been nominated for the Premier League’s Player of the Month award for November.
The Scottish midfielder played every minute of Aston Villa’s three fixtures during the month, helping the team to two wins after a 1-0 defeat against Southampton.
McGinn was at his bustling best in a 2-0 success against Brighton at Villa Park in Steven Gerrard’s first game in charge before he curled in a beautiful goal to seal victory against Crystal Palace.
The 27-year-old is up against Trent Alexander-Arnold, Joao Cancelo, Diogo Jota, Emmanuel Dennis and Bernardo Silva for the award.
The winner will be announced on Friday, December 10 at 11am.
