Dean Smith has made 10 changes for tonight's Carabao Cup tie against Barrow.
The Aston Villa head coach has named Conor Hourihane captain, while Axel Tuanzebe makes his first start since rejoining the club on loan.
Elsewhere, youngsters Carney Chukwuemeka and Jaden Philogene-Bidace start, with Cameron Archer making a first appearance for Villa since August 2019.
