Aston Villa’s iconic lion comes to life in the new 2021/22 third kit.
A navy base with contrasted lions’ claws, the new Kappa kit is available now - both online and at the Villa Store!
Aston Villa 2021/22 third kit
The shirt has been designed around the legendary Villa lion, an iconic feature in the crest throughout the club’s history, dating back to our foundation in 1874.
The claw marks feature on the front and back of the shirt, and the lion is printed on the back collar.
The kit is completed with fresh celadon green, as the third colour on the club crest, the Kappa omini logos, the sponsor Cazoo, and on the inserts on the back panel, sleeves and collar.

Both the KOMBAT™ PRO 2022 and the REPLICA version of the kit will feature a 3-dimension silicon badge.
The KOMBAT ™ PRO 2022 version worn on pitch by the players will feature the Kombat Pro System technology so dear to Kappa and synonymous with ultra-resistant, elastic and breathable material within the main fabric and a fully stretch bottom part of the sleeves.”
Principal partner Cazoo, the UK’s leading online car retailer, will proudly feature their branding across all shirts, including junior and infant kits, ensuring Villa’s younger fans will once more be able to wear the same shirt as their heroes.
The club’s launch video and photography features Aston Villa Women players Alisha Lehmann, Shania Hayles, Ramona Petzelberger, models and one of the UK’s top young football freestyler’s Mo Omar.
Following record demand for this season’s home and away kit, the club’s new third strip is again available in all ranges of size and including men’s, women’s, juniors and infants fit, as well as Standard and Pro editions (men’s only).
Upload a photo of yourself to social media wearing our new kit and use the hashtag #WeAreVilla to appear on our digital AVFC Fan Wall, which will be displayed on the club’s official website, big screens at Villa Park and more.
The Villa Store will be open from 10am-8pm on Thursday, August 26 and the following extended hours this week:
Friday, August 27 – Saturday, August 28 - 10am-6pm
Sunday, August 29 - 10am-4pm
Monday, August 30 – 9:30am-5:30pm
The store will then revert to normal trading hours from Tuesday, August 31 onwards (Tue-Sat 9.30am-5.30pm and Sun 10am-4pm).
