Conor Hourihane started for Swansea City on Saturday as the Welsh side continued their push for promotion from the Championship.

The Irish midfielder played 54 minutes before being substituted after the Swans had seen Wycombe Wanderers score two quick goals after half-time.

But City hit back in the final ten minutes with goals from Jamal Lowe and Liam Cullen as they stayed third in the table.

Fred Guilbert was shown a red card as Strasbourg drew 1-1 with Nimes Olympique in Ligue 1 on Sunday.

The full-back was given his marching order minutes after half-time. Strasbourg then fell behind before battling back to take a point.

In Croatia, Lovre Kalinic played the full 90 in Hajduk Split’s 1-0 loss to Osijek, leaving them fifth in the table.

Tyreik Wright started as Walsall went down 2-1 against Colchester United in League Two on Saturday.

The winger delivered a corner that was eventually turned home by James Clarke to give the Saddlers the lead.

Goals from Michael Folivi and Ryan Clampin turned the game on its head as Colchester led 2-1 at the break before Wright was withdrawn after 61 minutes.

Elsewhere in League Two, Indiana Vassilev made a nine-minute cameo as promotion-chasing Cheltenham Town lost 1-0 to Crawley Town.

In National League action, Jack Clarke started Chesterfield’s 2-1 loss to Bromley while Dominic Revan was absent as Weymouth lost 3-0 to Aldershot.

Cameron Archer played the final 15 minutes for Solihull Moors in their 3-2 loss to Dagenham & Redbridge.

Ben Guy was a second half substitute for Portadown as they suffered a 2-1 defeat at the hands of Cliftonville in Northern Ireland.

Ally Samatta was an unused substitute as Fenerbahçe won 2-1 against Basaksehir in the Super Lig.
