Douglas Luiz and Emiliano Martínez are all set for international action in October as the South American section of qualifying for the 2022 FIFA World Cup gets underway.

Brazil boss Tite gave Douglas Luiz his international debut in November 2019 and the Villa midfielder could feature again as their campaign begins at home to Bolivia on Friday, October 9.

The Seleção will then travel to face Peru four days later.

Argentina also start their quest for qualification at home and Martínez could feature against Ecuador on Thursday, October 8, with Lionel Scaloni's side then heading to Bolivia on the following Tuesday.

The goalkeeper - who signed a four-year deal at Villa Park this week - received his first call up for La Albiceleste in June 2011, but is yet to make his senior international bow having represented his country at U17 and U20 level.

Congratulations to both players on their latest call-ups!
