Dean Smith has been nominated for the Premier League's September Manager of the Month award following Aston Villa's 100% start to the season.
Victories over Sheffield United and Fulham ensured that Villa started the top flight campaign with back-to-back wins for the first time since 1999 and for only the third time in the club's Premier League history.
Ezri Konsa's goal proved decisive in a 1-0 win over the Blades on the opening night, before a dominating performance at Craven Cottage saw Smith's side come away from London with a 3-0 victory, thanks to strikes from Jack Grealish, Conor Hourihane and Tyrone Mings.
With back-to-back clean sheets secured, Villa are the only team yet to concede a goal in the top flight so far this term.
Smith's team are currently on a six-match unbeaten run in the Premier League, which stretches back to the end of last season.
