The Aston Villa Foundation are launching a new STEM programme, which will be available to schools as part of our schools' provision.

The programme, which has been funded by Millennium Point Charitable Trust, will allow children to learn and be inspired by new technologies. The robots used allow children to learn coding and programme the robots.

Paul Hughes, Schools Manager, said: "The aim is to engage and inspire children in STEM skills as the world we live in is ever evolving through technology.

"Using the power of football to begin to unlock learning potential, we bring this equipment and this programme to your school."

For the launch of this programme we are targeting schools within our local community around Villa Park - Erdington, Ladywood and Perry Barr. If your school is interested in getting involved in this STEM project, please get in touch.

The Millennium Point Charitable Trust's application portal for 2021 is currently open. Follow the link to find out more about their grants and funding opportunties, which are available for science, technology, engineering and Maths initiatives.
