A number of Aston Villa stars were in action for their countries on Thursday night.
International friendlies were taking place around the globe, while European Championship qualification was also at stake for some.
Here's a round-up of how the Villans got on...
England

Tyrone Mings and Jack Grealish featured for England as they hosted Wales in a friendly at Wembley.
Grealish took his superb club form onto the interntional stage with a dazzling display on his full debut, winning the Man of the Match award.
The Villa skipper created the opening goal for Dominic Calvert-Lewin and continued to torment the Welsh full-backs for most of the game before he was withdrawn after 76 minutes.

Mings also registered an assist after he came on as a second half substitute, heading the ball down for Danny Ings to score as England ran out 3-0 winners.
The duo will now prepare for the Three Lions' games against Belgium (11/10) and Denmark (14/10), with both matches taking place at Wembley.
Scotland

John McGinn joined Grealish in picking up Man of the Match honours for his display in Scotland's penalty shoot-out win against Israel.
The game finished 0-0 after extra-time, with McGinn stepping up to score his side's first spot kick.
Kenny McLean netted the winning penalty to make it 5-3 and take Scotland to within one game from reaching a first major finals since 1998.
They will now play Serbia for a place at the European Championships on 12 November.
Republic of Ireland

There was heartbreak for Conor Hourihane as Republic of Ireland's hopes of reaching the European Championships were ended.
The Villa midfielder scored his penalty as Ireland lost 4-2 on spot kicks after a 0-0 draw with Slovakia.
Ireland had dominated for the majority of the match and hit the post as they pressed for a winner.
Argentina

Emiliano Martinez's wait for a first senior cap continues after he was an unused substitute for Argentina on Thursday.
Lionel Messi scored from the penalty spot as the Argentines beat Ecuador 1-0 in their first World Cup qualifier.
Martinez will hope to feature in Argentina's next qualifier against Bolivia (13/10).
