Aston Villa have been drawn at home against Liverpool in the third round of the Emirates FA Cup.
Dean Smith’s side most recently faced the Reds at the start of October and emerged 7-2 winners in their Premier League encounter on a memorable night at Villa Park.
Villa also progressed the last time the two sides met in the FA Cup, coming from behind to triumph 2-1 at Wembley in their semi-final clash in 2015 to reach the showpiece finale.
The Villans are seven-time winners of the world’s oldest domestic cup competition, last lifting the trophy in 1957.
Third-round ties are due to take place across the weekend of January 9/10.
