Aston Villa Women come into their final group game of the FA Women's Continental League Cup reeling from defeat in the Second City derby on Saturday.
Having experienced a resurgence of sorts against Brighton & Hove Albion and Coventry United, Villa were left to rue a missed opportunity at the weekend when Claudia Walker's strike was enough to give the Blues all three points.
Gemma Davies and co. have the chance to bounce back immediately, and in the meantime qualify for the knockout stages of the Conti Cup for the second straight season.
Durham, meanwhile, will have other ideas on Thursday night.
