Aston Villa Women are just eight days away from their first game of the FA Women’s Super League season.
And with that opening day fixture against Manchester City at Villa Park in sight, the team got some valuable match action against Leicester City yesterday.
The Championship side provided good opposition as Gemma Davies’ squad move towards their debut campaign in the top-flight.
The Villans have already played several friendly matches, including run-outs against Arsenal and Manchester City.
