Aston Villa Women continued their pre-season by taking on top class opposition on Sunday afternoon.
Gemma Davies’ squad tested themselves against Barclays Women’s Super League runners-up Manchester City at Bodymoor Heath.
Several of the team’s new signings were in action against the Cityzens and their cast of world class talent.
The two teams are set to meet again on the opening weekend of the WSL season on 5/6 September when Villa welcome City to the Banks’s Stadium.
