Frederic Guilbert replaced Ahmed Elmohamady as the only change to Aston Villa’s starting XI for their final-day encounter against West Ham United at London Stadium.
Elmohamady hobbled out of Tuesday’s 1-0 victory over Arsenal after 25 minutes nursing a hamstring complaint, with Guilbert replacing him at right-back and putting in an impressive display.
And the Frenchman starts against the Hammers, with Elmohamady ruled out, as Villa look to secure their Premier League safety.
Neil Taylor is named on the bench, otherwise Dean Smith’s substitutes are unchanged from midweek.
Villa: Reina, Guilbert, Konsa, Mings, Targett, McGinn, Luiz, Hourihane, Trezeguet, Samatta, Grealish (c).
Subs: Nyland, Taylor, Hause, Nakamba, Lansbury, El Ghazi, Jota, Vassilev, Davis.
