Ally Samatta returned to Aston Villa’s starting XI to face Manchester United on Thursday night.
The Tanzania international striker was recalled in place of Keinan Davis, who dropped to the bench for the Premier League clash at Villa Park (ko 8.15pm).
Samatta’s inclusion represented the only change from Sunday’s defeat at Liverpool.
Captain Jack Grealish and Tyrone Mings both started having recovered from calf knocks sustained at Anfield.
