Last week, we asked fans to send in their favourite moment supporting Aston Villa in order to win a case of Purity Pale.

And after receiving a large number of brilliant responses, five winners were picked and have received their prize from club partner Purity Brewing Co in time for today’s Full 90 Friday showing of last year’s Play-Off Final against Derby County, which will be live on VillaTV from 3pm.

If you didn’t win but would like to check out Purity’s great range of beers, head to their website.

Here are the fans whose #PureVillaMoment made the grade…

Dan Hemming - Bromsgrove

Being behind the goal at Wembley as the ball came off McGinn's head and dropped into the back of the net, it seemed to take an age to go in. Special moments like this are what football and Villa are all about. Being there with my Dad will live in the memory forever. UTV!

Matthew Barr - Boroughbridge

Driving 200 miles just to watch the playoff final at my grandad’s house last year. He’s 88 and we couldn’t get tickets and I wanted to watch it with my family. What a great day, what a result! Back where we belong!

Lauren Whitehouse - Tamworth

When I celebrated a stoppage time goal at half time, slipped on spilt beer and ended up recreating Hutton’s slide tackle from the Blues game last season, when we won 4-2!

Austin Brauser - Lichfield

The 2019 Play-Off Final – what a day! From El Ghazi arriving, to Super John McGinn! A day we will never forget!

Liz Lacey - Sheffield

Being a Villa fan outside of Birmingham can sometimes feel lonely, though out of the many memories that stand out in the mighty Villa’s history, one of my favourites was watching our 6-1 thrashing of Sunderland in April 2013 in a sports bar in Sheffield. I’d walked into a sea of red and white but found a handful of Villa fans there. We were outnumbered but could easily be heard over the Sunderland fans throughout the game as our lads were giving us something to shout about! I will never forget how immensely proud I was of being a Villa fan in that moment; being able to celebrate such an emphatic victory, of such great importance, with fellow Villans in front of all those Sunderland fans made it all the sweeter. It's moments like that that make you love the game.
