Nicklas Helenius has backed fellow summer signing Jores Okore to flourish at Villa after revealing he had some tough duels with the defensive ace in Denmark's Superliga.
Helenius came up against Okore on several occasions in the Danish top flight when the pair played for Aalborg and Nordsjaelland respectively.
The two new Villa recruits have also played together for Denmark at U21 level.
And Helenius believes Okore's pace and strength will be major asset to Villa.
The striker said: "He is very strong - I can't beat him all the time in matches!
"He is fast and very strong and he is very good with the ball. He just shows he has lots of confidence every time.
"He is a good man for this club and I think he will grab his chance. He is a very good player."
Helenius is thrilled to be linking up with his compatriot at Villa Park.
He believes they will boost each other during the initial settling in period at their new club.
"It is fantastic to have another Danish player here," added Helenius.
"I know him and we have played together around 10 times for the U21 team in Denmark.
"We know each other and we know what we are good at and we are not so good at so we can help each other."
