Joe Hunt wants his Villa Ladies to go out and "enjoy the occasion" of playing in the League Cup Final on Sunday.
Villa Ladies take on Leeds Ladies at York City, kick-off 2pm.
Hunt knows there will be nerves flying around for both sides, with the chance of silverware on the horizon.
But he doesn't want that to affect the delight of playing in a major showpiece event.
He said: "We are looking forward to the Final.
"It's important that my team enjoy the occasion and are able to relax at game-time.
"Nerves will play their part but it's a great learning curve for the group.
"We played Leeds Ladies the previous weekend and that was a evenly-contested draw.
"Both teams didn't give an inch. It was a physical encounter but one I'm sure both sets of players enjoyed.
"We've had a really good week since then on the training pitch.
"All twenty players have trained and done their best to impress.
"It's a difficult decision to pick sixteen from the twenty available.
"All of the squad have contributed over the season, especially in this cup run.
"There's a real determination about the group. We even had to cut short the pre-match training session because of the epic desire of the players to impress."
Hunt is thrilled to have so many of his emerging players performing well as they get set for the one-off encounter.
He added: "We have a lot of players that are in form at the moment. I'm hopeful that form will continue on Sunday.
"Jade Richards has been sensational at the back, Tash Merritt has knitted the team together then we have the wide attacking threat of Livy Fergusson, Kelly Clarke, Emma Follis plus the experience of Chloe Jones and Carly Davies through the middle.
"We've had a good few weeks - making the Cup Final, gaining Super League status for next season and now we have the added bonus of playing our last home game on the Villa Park pitch.
"Hopefully we'll be able to do ourselves justice in this Final."
Squad: Walsh, Cooper, Mannion, Vaughan, Petrovic, Richards, Moran, Merritt, McCue, Stringer, Cusack, Fergusson, Follis, Clarke, Merrick, Jones, Davies.
Tickets are available at £5 on the gate at York City's Bootham Crescent.
