Villa v Man City pre-match show: Ladies skipper Petrovic guest stars

Villa Ladies skipper Dani Petrovic is the star guest on this week's pre-match show as we gear up for the Man City clash.

In a change from the norm, we took our cameras to Ward End Fire Station, the place of work of captain Petrovic.

The all-action defender shows us round, offering in the process a fascinating insight into her day job.

Petrovic discusses the men's team before expressing her pride at skippering the ladies.

She also talks about the progress of the ladies, who are flying high in the league and doing well in the League and FA Cups.

There are also in-depth interviews with Fabian Delph and Ciaran Clark.

Delph talks about the tough-tackling tenacity of Yacouba Sylla in training and the qualities of former team-mate and fellow Leeds man James Milner.

He also talks about getting a run in the side and the confidence he's gained from the past few performances.

Clark also praises the ability of Milner but stresses the players are optimistic going into this clash with the champions.

He also tells us there's no reason why Villa can't repeat their League Cup success over City from earlier in the campaign.

We dip into Paul Lambert's press conference.

He says the lads believe they can get a result, have competed well over the past few games and their attitude is spot on heading into the final eleven games.

Andreas Weimann also looks forward to the challenge of facing the reigning champions, as does former boss Gerard Houllier, who is a special guest on the show.

Finally we bring you some goals scored against City, including Darren Bent's debut strike in the win from two seasons ago.
