Oliwier Zych joined Aston Villa from Zaglebie Lubin in his native Poland in the summer of 2020. The young goalkeeper played for Arka Gydnia Youth before making the move to Lubin, where he stayed for two years.

Zych spent the 2023/24 season on loan at Puszcza Niepolomice in the Ekstraklasa, making 26 appearances. 

Zych’s talent has seen him represent his country at Under-15 and Under-16 level. During his time at Villa, Zych was part of the squad that won the FA Youth Cup in 2021, keeping a clean sheet on his one appearance during the cup run.
