Bio

Ben Chrisene made the move to Aston Villa in August 2020, signing from Exeter City.

Chrisene became Exeter’s youngest-ever player in August 2019 when he made his debut in the EFL Cup against Coventry City at the age of 15 years, seven months and one day.

He didn't have to wait too long to make his senior Villa debut, starting against Liverpool in the FA Cup third round in January 2021. A matter of days after the cup tie, Chrisene signed his first professional contract with the club. And to round off a great debut season at the club, he scored the opening goal in a 2-1 win against Liverpool in the FA Youth Cup final.

Chrisene moved to Kilmarnock on loan for the 2022/23 season and made 16 appearances for the Scottish side before his season was curtailed by injury. Further experience followed on loan at Blackburn Rovers in 2023/24, where he made 18 appearances.

The defender has been capped at Under-15, U16 and U17 level for England.
