Aston Villa announced the signing of Tim Iroegbunam in July 2021. He made his senior debut as a substitute against Brighton in the Premier League in February 2022. A month later, Iroegbunam signed a new long-term contract with the club until 2027.

Iroegbunam joined QPR ahead of the 2022/23 campaign and was a key player for the R's, making 32 appearances in the Championship. 

The midfielder joined Villa's Academy from West Bromwich Albion, where he came through the ranks after joining their Under-8s.

On the international stage, Iroegbunam was part of the England team that won the Under-19 European Championships in July 2022.
