Bio
Kosta Nedeljković joined Aston Villa in January 2024.
The defender joined from Red Star Belgrade and spent the remainder of the 2023/24 season on loan with the Serbian club.
A product of the youth Academy at Red Star, Nedeljković made his breakthrough into the first team at the start of this campaign and has also represented Serbia at youth international level.
He became the 1,000th player to ever represent Aston Villa on his debut, when coming off the bench at the London Stadium in our win over West Ham United on the opening day of the 2024/25 Premier League season, before making a further nine first team appearances in claret and blue, and making his senior Serbia debut against Spain in September 2024.
He spent the second half of the 2024/25 campaign on loan in Germany with RB Leipzig, appearing 11 times for Die Rotten Bullen.
