Alysson joined Aston Villa from Grêmio in January 2026.

Aged 19 at the time of signing, the winger had impressed in his native Brazil after coming through Grêmio's youth ranks and making a mark on the senior side. 

Alysson was deployed predominantly on the right wing by Grêmio, allowing him to cut inside on his favoured left foot.
