Aston Villa proudly joined Birmingham Pride 2025 last weekend, celebrating alongside our official LGBTQ+ supporter network, Villa and Proud.
The festivities kicked off with a pre-Pride meet-up, where attendees enjoyed a spread of Pride-themed pastries and Villa giveaways, including our recently released adidas Pride Jerseys.
There was a fantastic atmosphere as our group entered the Pride Parade, showcasing a spectacular float decorated with banners that highlighted Aston Villa and Villa and Proud’s shared commitment to equality and inclusivity.
Bringing the party to life, our Villa and Proud DJ filled the streets with uplifting tunes as the float made its way from Centenary Square to the heart of the LGBTQ+ village.
Speaking about the day, Villa and Proud said: "The Villa and Proud family came together on Saturday to celebrate Birmingham Pride - we all had a wonderful time walking, singing and dancing in the parade.
"Birmingham Pride really brings the LGBTQ+ community and its allies together - it is without doubt one of the most important events in the Villa and Proud calendar and is always fantastic fun for all involved."
