Emi MartĂnez has been shortlisted for the Premier League Save of the Season Award.
The Aston Villa goalkeeper has been nominated for his incredible reflex stop against Nottingham Forest at The City Ground on December 14, which duly scooped the Premier League Save of the Month honour.
Nicolás DomĂnguez thought he'd scored for The Reds with a close-range header in the second half, only to see MartĂnez show amazing reflexes and flexibility to somehow claw his effort off the goal-line.
It was the first time the Argentina international had picked up the Premier League’s monthly award, adding to his growing collection of honours.
