Young Lions celebrate treble success

Aston Villa celebrated a memorable treble-winning season for the club’s Under-18s on Saturday.

The Young Lions recorded a 1-0 victory over Manchester City in the U18 Premier League national final in front of almost 10,000 fans at Villa Park.

Leon Routh bagged the second-half winner to secure more silverware for the club’s triumphant Academy.

It came after Jimmy Shan’s side clinched both the U18 Premier League South title and FA Youth Cup in an historic campaign.
