As part of Aston Villa’s commitment to broader and inclusive supporter engagement, as well as the Premier League’s Fan Engagement Standard, the club is reconstituting its Fan Advisory Board (FAB) for the start of the 2025/26 season.
The FAB, which evolved from the old Supporter’s Consultation Group, was set up to consult with management on key issues relating to the running of the club, particularly on those subjects that directly impact supporters.
The current FAB is chaired by David Michael (My Old Man Said) and Mo Razzaq (Aston Villa Supporters Trust), and the club would like to express thanks and appreciation to them both and all FAB members for their hard work and dedication to the Aston Villa cause.
As part of the guidance laid out in the Premier League’s Fan Engagement Standard, the FAB will be reconstituted for the upcoming season, with a selection of new members representing each of the diverse groups within our fanbase.
The board, which will be overseen by an independent chairman, will comprise of up to 10 members who will assist and advise the club in areas such as ticketing and matchday experience, equality, diversity & inclusion (EDI), accessibility and stadium development and women’s football.
For the first time, the club will also establish a Junior FAB, exclusively for people aged 16-21, to better represent the thoughts and opinions of younger supporters at Villa Park.

To ensure all Aston Villa supporters feel they have a representative voice and can consult and lobby the club about the issues that are important to them, the make-up of the FAB will be as diverse as possible.
Supporters are invited to apply to be one of the 10 members, and the appointment will ensure these represent all four stands at Villa Park, include season ticket holders, match ticket purchasers, members and hospitality members.
There will be representation from EDI groups, the Disabled Supporters’ Association and Lions Clubs, both domestically and internationally.
Alongside the core Fan Advisory Board, the club will establish an extended network of consultation groups with areas of particular focus, each chaired by an FAB member. These will focus on Ticketing & Membership, Matchday Experience, Club Culture, Accessibility and Women’s Football.
If you are interested in representing Aston Villa supporters on our new Fan Advisory Board, please complete the application form below.
The deadline for applications is Friday, May 30, with interviews to be held in early June.
