Aston Villa added a fifth FA Youth Cup crown to their trophy cabinet on Bank Holiday Monday with an impressive 3-1 win over Manchester City at Villa Park in the final.

Jimmy Shan's Under-18s fell behind with two minutes on the clock in B6, but provided an immediate response with TJ Carroll heading home Cole Brannigan's corner.

Brannigan got himself in on the act just after half an hour when thundering home an exquisite half-volley from the edge of the area, before Jamaldeen Jimoh-Aloba's second-half effort from distance put the result beyond doubt.

Over 25,000 supporters flocked to Villa Park to cheer on the Young Lions, who delivered scenes of jubilation at full-time as they were confirmed FA Youth Cup champions, before lifting the prestigious trophy on the field and celebrating in front of the fans and back in the home dressing room.
