Aston Villa continued their impressive form and made it four consecutive wins with a 3-2 victory away to West Ham United in the Women's Super League this afternoon.
Ebony Salmon got the game up and running and she made it two goals in two away games with the opener after only five minutes on the clock. But the home side struck twice to turn the game around and take the lead through Shekiera Martinez and Riko Ueki. However, Rachel Daly ensured that her side went into the break level as she evened the scoring after pouncing on a loose back pass.
Chasity Grant continued her fine form and restored Villa's lead only nine minutes after the restart with a thumping low shot which also proved to be the match-winner.
Natalia Arroyo's squad was boosted by the return of Anna Patten and Lucy Parker as both defenders came back into the starting 11. Jordan Nobbs also came into the fold in the place of Kirsty Hanson who missed out through injury.

It didn't take Villa long to opener the scoring as Salmon got the game up and running of the fifth minute. Chasity Grant found Salmon with a pass inside the home side's half who pinged the ball out to Rachel Daly, she carried it down the right before slipping a pass through the defence and back into Salmon's feet who charged towards goal and neatly slotted a shot into the far bottom corner.
West Ham went on the hunt for the equaliser and Viviane Asseyi was presented with a chance on the 11th minute as got on the end of a cross from Seraina Piubel but she could only guide her header wide of the target.

However, they got their leveller seven minutes later through their in-form striker Martinez as she nodded home a fierce cross from Asseyi past Sabrina D'Angelo.
The Villa keeper was called into action on the 25th minute as she had to quickly leave her line, get down and push a shot from Piubel clear after the West Ham midfielder had broke free past the defence and was closing in on goal.
Kearns came close to restoring the Villans' lead on the 32nd minute after Daly brought the ball back down the midfielder who swung a shot back towards goal from the edge of the box but Kinga Szemik collected the effort.
West Ham took the lead two minutes later following as Katrina Gorry flicked a short cross into the six yard box searching for Ueki, her first shot bounced off D'Angelo but the ball fell kindly for the her to tap home the rebound.
But Villa responded well and pulled themselves back level on the 37th minute as Daly intercepted a weak back pass from Gorry and found the back of the net with a first time finish from just inside the box.

Arroyo's side came out strong after the restart as they went on the hunt to regain their earlier lead and Salmon came close to netting her second of the game after the home side failed to clear their lines and the forward slipped through the powers and smashed a strong shot from a tight angle but it flew inches wide.
But Villa made no mistake with their next opportunity in front of goal as Grant restored the side's lead with her third goal in two games. Parker floated a great through ball over the West Ham defence and into the path of Grant who charged into the box, looked up and saw she was alone, before smashing a low shot into the far bottom corner.

D'Angelo denied Asseyi on the 68th minute as she read the forward's shot well and saved her effort from 24 yards out.
Salmon could've wrapped up the win a minute into stoppage time and she picked up a pass from Jill Baijings inside the box before skimming a shot from close range but Shelina Zadorsky got down to make the block.
