Aston Villa return to action for the first time in two weeks this afternoon as they face Everton in the Women's Super League.
The Villans will be looking to get back to winning ways and pick up another important three points at Villa Park.
Natalia Arroyo's side were last in action before the international break as they fell to a tough defeat on the road.
Villa made the short trip across the midlands to face Leicester City at the King Power Stadium but a brace from Janice Cayman and a second-half goal from Julie Thibaud condemend the Villans to a 3-0 defeat.

Everton fell to an agonising defeat last time out as they were beaten by a stoppage-time goal away to Chelsea.
Kelly Gago put the Toffees ahead in the 51st minute with a thundering strike from inside the box but a goal from Mayra Ramirez 11 minutes later levelled the scoring.
Everton were on course to head back to Merseyside with a hard-earned point but Lauren James inflicted a late blow with a 93rd-minute stoppage-time winner to secure the league leaders a 2-1 win.

Stats
Villa have lost just one of their last four league games against the Toffees (W2 D1).
No team's games have seen both teams score more often than Villa's in the 2024/25 WSL season (8), with the Villans both scoring and conceding in four of their last five home matches.

Head Coach
"The game is in an amazing stadium so that’s great and you always want to play these kind of games. There’s no excuse of the pitch, no excuse of needing to travel anywhere as it’s home and it is close to us. We have a lot of things to learn from and hopefully we can show the version that we want to be and ‘what’s the team we want to be’ isn’t saying it’s doing. We need to set a right benchmark of what we want to be by showing our best."
