Aston Villa will start their 2025/26 Premier League season at home to Newcastle United.
Villa, who have won five of their last six meetings against the Magpies at Villa Park, will open their campaign on Saturday, August 16 (ko 12.30pm), live on TNT Sports.
It is the club’s first home match on the opening day of a league season for five years and first in the top flight with supporters inside Villa Park since 2010/11.
Unai Emery’s charges make the trip to west London to face Brentford for our maiden away match of the campaign, before hosting Crystal Palace at Villa Park at the end of August.
The Villans enjoy our first venture to Everton’s new Hill Dickinson Stadium on the weekend of Saturday, September 13, with a trip to top-flight newcomers Sunderland completing our opening five fixtures.

Fellow Premier League new boys Burnley lie in wait in B6 at the start of October, before travelling to Elland Road to face Leeds United is followed up by a home meeting against Wolverhampton Wanderers at the end of November.
Villa’s festive fixtures get underway with a home encounter against Manchester United on the weekend of Saturday, December 20.
A trip to Stamford Bridge to face Chelsea follows on the weekend of Saturday, December 27, prior to another Christmas clash in the capital just days later against Arsenal – our final fixture of 2025.
Villa open the new year with a home fixture against Nottingham Forest, completing January away at Newcastle United.

The short trip across the midlands to face Wolves at Molineux is the club’s last match of February.
Fulham are our opponents at Craven Cottage to mark the start of our final five fixtures at the end of April, before hosting Tottenham Hotspur and then making the trip to Turf Moor to face Burnley.
The club’s last home match of the season comes against reigning champions Liverpool on the weekend of Sunday, May 17.
Villa then wrap up their campaign away at Manchester City on the final day on Sunday, May 24.
