Leon Bailey completed 90 minutes for Jamaica as the Reggae Boyz opened their Gold Cup campaign with a 1-0 defeat to Guatemala overnight on Tuesday.
The winger started the affair in Los Angeles, Jamaica's first of the tournament, which was sealed by Oscar Santis' strike just after the half-hour mark.
Getting underway at 7pm on Monday local time, the clash was the sixth of the first match round of fixtures, with the remaining two to take place this evening.
Steve McLaren's side are third in Group C after one game as a result, and take on bottom side Guadeloupe in their second game on Saturday (ko 12.45am).
