Chasity Grant netted her first senior goal for the Netherlands last night as she secured her country a win in the UEFA Women's Nations League.

The Oranje Leeuwinnen travelled to take on Scotland at Hampden Park in search of their first win in League A Group 1 after drawing with Germany 2-2 the week before.

Grant, who started the game, received a low cross from Vivianne Miedema inside the six yard box on the 64th minute and the winger remained calm and composed to turn the ball safely home.

The 23-year-old's goal was the game's third and final as the Netherlands won 2-1.

Kirsty Hanson also featured in the exciting match-up as she started the contest for Scotland.

The forward played the first 70 minutes but was unable to help her side secure anything from the game.

Anna Patten was also in action last night as Ireland faced Slovenia away from home in a League B Group 2 Nations League fixture.

The defender played the full 90 but was unable to help the side to victory as they fell to a 4-0 defeat.

Switzerland were also in Nations League action last night with Noelle Maritz featuring for the full 90 in their contest against Norway.

The defender played on the left side of a back three for her country but the side slipped to a 2-1 defeat and weren't able to pick up their first win in League A Group 2.
