Missy Bo Kears and Katie Robinson were both in action for England under-23s at the Bescot Stadium last night.
Both Villans started for the Young Lionesses, with Kearns captaining the side, against Germany U23s in their first of two fixtures this international break.
Robinson, who also wore the captain armband, featured for the full 90 with Kearns getting 72 minutes under belt as she continues to build her way back to full match fitness.
The Young Lionesses were narrowly edged out in the five-goal thriller as they fell to a 3-2 defeat.

Sabrina D'Angelo and Adriana Leon were also in action for their country this week as Canada faced China in their first Pinatar Cup match-up on Wednesday evening.
D'Angelo started for the team and Leon was introduced as a 63rd minute substitute as they drew 1-1.
