Kosta Nedeljković made his debut for loan club RB Leipzig over the weekend, as Die Rotten Bullen drew 0-0 at Augsburg.

The young right-back moved to Germany on loan for the remainder of the season on Deadline Day, and was introduced for his first appearance with 82 minutes on the clock on Saturday.

It was almost a dream debut for the Serbian, too, as he came within inches of winning the game for Marco Rose’s side in stoppage time, his effort hitting the crossbar.

Elsewhere in the Bundesliga, Emi Buendía was an unused substitute for Bayer Leverkusen as they held leaders Bayern Munich to a 0-0 draw.

Championship action on Saturday saw two on-loan Villans face off against one another, as Hull City and Norwich City played out a 1-1 draw.

Louie Barry started for the Tigers, playing 58 minutes, while Lewis Dobbin was introduced as a substitute for the Canaries, for the final 25 minutes.

Kaine Kesler-Hayden kept another clean sheet for Preston North End, as they held high-flying Burnley to a goalless draw, and Samuel Iling-Jr came on for Middlesbrough in the 67th minute of their 1-0 defeat at home to Watford.

Two Villans were on loan for Bristol Rovers in League One, as the Gas secured a 3-1 win at home to Burton Albion.

Lino Sousa played 90 minutes at left-back, providing the assist for Chris Martin’s opening goal with a pinpoint cross 13 minutes in, while Sil Swinkels was substituted on in the second minute of stoppage time.

Joe Gauci played 90 minutes in goal for Barnsley, who fell 2-1 at home to promotion hopefuls Huddersfield Town, while Josh Feeney completed the full match for Shrewsbury, who lost 3-2 at home to Bolton Wanderers.

In League Two, there was a full MK Dons debut for Travis Patterson, who played all 90 minutes in a 1-1 draw at Tranmere Rovers. Tommi O’Reilly was an unused substitute for the Milton Keynes outfit.

Filip Marschall kept another clean sheet, his 12th of the season, as Crewe Alexandra played out a goalless draw at Gillingham, and Kobei Moore was an unused substitute for Fleetwood Town, who lost 1-0 at Bromley.

And in the National League North, Charlie Lutz was again a stoppage-time substitute for Kidderminster Harriers, in their 2-0 win at Alfreton Town.

In Belgium, there was a Royal Antwerp debut for Kadan Young on Saturday, who came off the bench in stoppage time of their 1-0 win over Kortrijk, while Leander Dendoncker played 90 minutes for Anderlecht on Sunday, as they triumphed 1-0 at Charleroi.

Closer to home in the Premier League on Saturday, Àlex Moreno was an unused substitute for Nottingham Forest, who lost 2-1 at Fulham.

And Sunday saw a further three Villans in action. James Wright played 90 minutes in goal as Real Unión fell to a first defeat in five away at Celta de Vigo II, Fin Munroe coming on as a 35th-minute substitute, while Phillipe Coutinho played 90 minutes for Vasco da Gama, who fell 2-0 at Flamengo.
