Aston Villa Women will be without five first-team players for tomorrow night's Women's Super League clash with Arsenal at Villa Park.
Natalia Arroyo has confirmed that Lucy Parker (leg), Lucy Staniforth (ankle) and Gabi Nunes (back) are all ruled out for the fixture after picking up recent injuries.
Sarah Mayling will also miss out as she continues to recover from an ankle injury she picked up during the side's FA Cup quarter-final clash with Manchester City last month.
Paula Tomàs has also been ruled out for the remainder of the 2024/25 campaign after suffering a hip injury in the most recent international break. The defender has since undergone successful surgery and will begin a period of rehabilitation with the club's medical staff.
Arroyo's side has also received a boost ahead of the tie as captain Rachel Corsie has been confirmed to return to the matchday squad for the first time since the opening game of the season after recovering from a knee inury that required surgery back in October.
