Villa trio nominated for FC25 Team of the Season

Three Aston Villa players have been nominated for the EA Sports FC25 Premier League Team of the Season.

Morgan Rogers, Ollie Watkins and Youri Tielemans are all included in the shortlist for the side, voted for by the fans, with Villa supporters able to pick their team and select the trio now.

For Rogers, it’s been a standout first full season in the top flight for the Villans. The 22-year-old has racked up eight goals and eight assists and counting in the league this term, with 26 goal involvements in 47 games across all competitions to earn him a first senior England call-up and four international appearances.

Watkins has again enjoyed a successful campaign, not just in front of goal himself, but also when assisting team-mates. The England forward has reached 20 Premier League goal involvements for the third successive season, with 14 goals and six assists so far in the league, and a further goal and six more assists in all competitions.

And ever-present Tielemans has proved a mainstay in the centre of Villa’s midfield all season, starting each and every one of the club's 32 Premier League games so far, along with each Champions League and FA Cup outing to date, scoring four goals and registering nine assists in all competitions.
