Villa tie up Newcastle preparations

Aston Villa finalised preparations for Saturday's Premier League visit of Newcastle United at Bodymoor Heath this week. 

Unai Emery's side welcome the Magpies to Villa Park where they look to record a fifth successive Premier League victory and third straight triumph in all competitions, after last weekend's win at Southampton was followed up by a dramatic Champions League quarter-final second-leg against Paris Saint-Germain in midweek. 

Villa concluded work on the training pitch ahead of the clash, in which they will look to extend their unbeaten run in B6 to 19 matches in all competitions.
