Unai Emery is set to boast a fully-fit squad for Saturday’s Premier League test against Newcastle United.
Fit-again Leon Bailey returned to Aston Villa’s matchday squad for Tuesday’s UEFA Champions League clash against Paris Saint-Germain.
The quarter-final second leg at Villa Park also saw midfielder Ross Barkley get his first minutes since mid-January.
Andrés García and Donyell Malen return to the fold for the visit of the Magpies having not been included in the club’s European squad list.
But manager Emery will assess his squad for any issues or concerns when they train on Friday afternoon.
“The most important for me now is how they are, the players,” he told media at the pre-match press conference.
“We are going to train this afternoon, we are going to try to test the players how they are for tomorrow.
“It’s good news that in the last matches we’ve been recovering a lot of players.
“At the beginning, every player is available for tomorrow.
“We’ll test them if someone can feel something or is tired more than normal.”
