Buendía and Durán on target at Adams Park

Emi Buendía and Jhon Durán helped fire Aston Villa into Round Four of the Carabao Cup with a 2-1 victory at Wycombe Wanderers on Tuesday night.

Buendía's well-taken header and Durán's late penalty meant Richard Kone's injury-time strike was mere consolation for the Chairboys at Adams Park.

The cup tie also saw memorable first-team debuts for Joe Gauci, Kadan Young, Aidan Borland, Ben Broggio, Travis Patterson and Jamaldeen Jimoh-Aloba.
