Aston Villa supporters can secure a piece of history by ordering the official matchday programme from the club's first home game in the UEFA Champions League.

The programme for Wednesday night's match against Bayern Munich sold out at the stadium and due to unprecedented demand for the historic issue, a number of supporters may have missed out on getting their copy on matchday.

A limited number of copies will be available to purchase from sellers at the stadium alongside the Manchester United edition on Sunday.

If you'd like to secure a copy, supporters can order online via the link below for home delivery...

You can hear from three of Villa's 1982 European Cup winning squad in the programme, with Tony Morley recounting his time at the club in our feature interview.

Dennis Mortimer and Nigel Spink have penned Legends Columns, with the latter relishing the club's participation in Europe's biggest competition.

"It will be special for everyone who was involved as a player or supporter at the 1982 European Cup final and who still has an affinity with the club. I must admit the hairs on the back on my neck stood up and I had a lump in my throat when the tie was announced," he writes.

"It was a great steppingstone to play in the Europa Conference League last season but this is an even bigger achievement. It has always been an iconic competition, both as the European Cup and under its current title, and that’s now truer than ever."

This edition also contains a series of tributes to fellow European Cup winner Gary Shaw from those who played alongside him following his tragic passing last month.
