Villa beaten on the road

Aston Villa fell to a first Premier League defeat in eight matches on Sunday, losing 4-1 at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. 

Despite leading at half-time thanks to Morgan Rogers' strike, Villa succumbed to a second-half fightback from Spurs, with goals from Brennan Johnson, Dominic Solanke (2) and James Maddison sending them home from North London empty-handed.
