Aston Villa shared a 2-2 draw with West Bromwich Albion in the Under-18 Premier League South on Saturday.
The Young Lions opened the scoring just before the half-hour mark courtesy of Jack McDowell’s header.
Oliver Bostock levelled for the Baggies before the break, only for Charlie Pavey to restore Villa’s advantage in the 73rd minute.
However, the visitors were pegged back again shortly afterwards through Divine Onyemachi as the encounter finished honours even.

Chances came for both sides before Villa broke the deadlock in the 29th minute courtesy of McDowell’s header from Luka Lynch’s cross.
But Albion levelled 10 minutes later as Bostock found the net with a left-footed strike, ensuring it remained all square at the interval.
With the clash finely poised heading into the latter stages, Pavey struck to once again put Villa back in front against their midlands neighbours.
Yet the lead lasted just four minutes as substitute Onyemachi pulled the hosts level for a second time and made sure it finished a point apiece, with Villa ending a run of nine successive defeats.
